Lima

Lima yarn from Hjertegarn is a soft aran (worsted) weight yarn from Peru . The wool was used to create the famous Sarah Lund jumpers in the Danish TV series "The Killing". The pattern for the snowflake jumper was translated from the original Danish and featured in Knit Magazine Issue 46, using yarn in natural (100) and dark brown (409) colours.

The pattern for Sarah Lun's red jumper was in the Radio Times (November 2011) and can be knitted in Lima shade red (2060).

The yarn is available in a wide range of shades (which we can order) and is pefect for knitting and felting.
